Well, I didn't really know what I was in for with "Motel Mist", aside from knowing that it was a Thai movie. And since I enjoy Asian cinema, of course I opted to sit down and watch this 2016 movie from writer and director Prabda Yoon. I managed to endure 55 minutes of this ordeal. And yeah, trust me, this was an ordeal.
Motel Mist is weirdly hypnotic and enjoyably unsettling; an erotic odyssey into violent fetish, dysfunction and exploitation that one can't quite look away from - at the same time as it turns one...
Storyline: In just a few hours, at an unusual love motel on the outskirts of Bangkok called Motel Mistress, four human lives intertwine and change forever. Sopol, a typical Thai father-like figure with kinky and dangerous sexual fetishes, brings his new young prey, a school girl named Laila, to room number 7, his custom-made erotic chamber.
